Cơ bản thì mình thấy giá của Google One (tên gói dung lượng dùng chung cho mọi dịch vụ Google) không đắt. Gói 2TB mà có 225.000 đồng / tháng, lại được lưu trữ tự động, yên tâm về chất lượng file và không bao giờ sợ mất file cả. Bạn lưu ra ổ cứng rời có khi còn nguy hiểm hơn vì ổ cứng vẫn có khả năng hỏng, vẫn có thể bị mất cắp, bị bỏ quên ở đâu đó. Còn hạ tầng của Google thì backup liên tục, xuyên suốt nhiều ổ, nhiều server, chết 1 con cũng không sao. Show
Với đa số người dùng thì gói 100GB hoặc 200GB là đủ để lưu trữ rồi. 45.000 đồng / tháng thì còn rẻ hơn ly cà phê mà anh em thường uống khi đi vào những chuỗi cà phê lớn nữa cơ mà. Do mình dùng lưu video 4K nên mới xài gói 2TB.  Quay trở lại với Google Photos, khả năng backup ảnh liên tục, tính năng tìm kiếm cực kì thông minh, khả năng tạo album chia sẻ với người khác để mọi người cùng góp ảnh vào, cũng như chức năng tự động làm đẹp ảnh hay tự tạo video từ ảnh là những lý do rất tốt khiến Google Photos gần như không có đối thủ trên Android. Bạn hoàn toàn có thể dùng OneDrive, Dropbox hay các dịch vụ lưu trữ file khác để tự động sao lưu ảnh, nhưng bản chất của chúng không phải là dịch vụ ảnh nên thiếu nhiều chức năng hay ho của Google Photos. Nội vụ tìm kiếm hay chia sẻ ảnh là đã khác nhau rồi. Anh em có dịch vụ nào ngon hơn Google Photos thì hãy comment vào nhé. Nếu bạn đang dùng iPhone, iPadCó lẽ bạn sẽ không bị ảnh hưởng nhiều, vì Google Photos từ trước đến nay không hoạt động hiệu quả 100% trên iPhone, iPad do giới hạn chạy nền của hệ điều hành => khiến cho app không phải lúc nào cũng có thể sao lưu ảnh hiệu quả. Tuy nhiên, bản thân mình và nhiều người xung quanh mình tuy dùng iPhone nhưng vẫn xài Google Photos để làm nơi lưu ảnh, backup được bao nhiêu thì hay bấy nhiêu, đặc biệt hữu ích khi cần chia sẻ ảnh với bạn bè. Giờ thì Google Photos đã tính phí, mình sẽ không còn tiếp tục sử dụng Google Photos để làm nơi lưu trữ ảnh chụp trên iPhone nữa. iCloud sẽ là công cụ phù hợp hơn cho mục đích này. Cụ thể là hình ảnh screenshot và ảnh bị mờ (screenshot & blurry). Đầu tiên anh em có thể vào trang quản lý dung lượng Google Photos tại đây (máy tính hay điện thoại gì cũng được), kéo xuống mục xem lại và xoá (Review and delete) anh em sẽ thấy Google liệt kê ra những danh mục khác nhau, chú ý đến “ảnh bị mờ” và “ảnh chụp màn hình”. Tuy Google tự động xác định thuộc tính hình ảnh, nhưng anh em cũng cần xem lại kĩ trước khi xoá hẳn những hình ảnh đó. Sử dụng công cụ quản lý dung lượng Google OneDù cho anh em có sử dụng dịch vụ Google One hay không, anh em vẫn có thể sử dụng công cụ quản lý dung lượng này. Tại đây, anh em có thể kiểm tra những tệp tin, hình ảnh & video dung lượng lớn đang chiếm giữ dung lượng gốc của anh em, từ Google Drive, Gmail hay cả Google Photos. Những tệp tin đính kèm với email có những tệp dung lượng lớn mà lâu quá có thể anh em quên, chính nó gây ra tình trạng tốn bộ nhớ của anh em, vì vậy có thể xem xét xoá đi nếu không sử dụng nữa.
