Enduring beauty. I want a light 13-inch notebook, a tablet, a high-quality as well as great looking chassis, and really long battery runtimes. But that are 4 wishes at once, that's really not possible! Yes it is. The big surprise in our in-depth review.

I have used a Spectre x360 (first a 4003dx then a 4101dx which is the Windows 10 version of the same 1150USD hardware) since March 2015. It is a bit heavy when using it as a tablet and the screen is reflective but the keyboard and performance are outstanding. There are some details you might not see in reviews: CABC is enabled by default and can be disabled in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel > Power > Battery. You can disable the F5 key light and also toggle the F1-F12 keys between shortcut and function keys in the BIOS. The Spectre x360 has a Synaptics digitizer behind the display but the accuracy was worse than Wacom, even with the second generation Dell Active Stylus.

I just received a refurbished HP Spectre x360 (4003dx). I've used and tested it for a few days only, and upgraded the OS to Windows 10 right away. Globally the computer is great, but it seems sluggish to me (takes a while to open a software for example, even when I'm not running much in the background). I expected the computer to be more respective (even though it's got i7-5500u, 8Gb RAM, 256Gb SSD). Because it's all about expectations and I'm used to working on pretty fast computer, I installed PCMark 7 1.4 and ran a full test. I got only 2900, which is a lot less than what you've got. So I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the device. Have you heard of any issues with this model, and did you change anything in the configuration before benchmarking. I've run mine at default resolution (1920*1080) ? Thanks for any insight !

Is HP Spectre x360 worth buying?

Our Verdict. The HP Spectre x360 14 is both stylish and fast. Although it's on the heavier side and the price tag is rather high, it's still one of the most luxurious laptops you can buy right now.

Does HP Spectre x360 have heating issues?

I have observed it overheats a lot on middle of the keyboard near function keys within 10-20 minutes I start using it. from other HP forum I have already tried HP CoolSense but it does not help.. It is really sad experience to buy one of latest product and face this kind of issue.

Is HP Spectre x360 better than HP Envy?

The Spectre is more portable since it's a smaller device, and its battery lasts much longer. Although its display isn't as large as the Envy's, it looks sharper due to its higher pixel density. There's also a 3k and a 1000 cd/m² FHD+ display option with an integrated privacy screen, which you can't get on the ENVY.

Why is my HP Spectre so slow?

There can be several reasons for HP laptop running slow. It could be due to low system memory (RAM), a fragmented hard drive, excessive background processes or startup programs, malware infections, outdated drivers, or overheating. Identifying the specific cause can help in implementing the appropriate solution.
