It’s not live bacteria, it’s actually dead bacteria.

Which sounds yucky right? Until you realise your skin’s home to millions of bacteria – and your skin needs them to be healthy and youthful.

This dead bacteria can help your skin to renew itself and to make a super healthy skin barrier.

The Ordinary Buffet Review

The most important part. Does it work? Will The Ordinary (TO) Buffet really anti-age your skin?

Right now, I’m reading the supplier trials for the key anti-ageing peptides included in TO Buffet – they’re impressive.

In just 2 months – which really is extremely quick for anti-ageing skincare – fine lines and wrinkles are seen to reduce by anything from 31% to 100%. This result is a real-life result i.e. it’s on real, human skin that’s attached to real, living humans.

These results are from 3D modelling of skin i.e. not by a person deciding if skin really is less wrinkled.

This is way more objective and reliable.

Note – these studies are completed by the manufacturers of the peptides we’re talking about. Keep this in mind, as it means there’s likely a bit of bias in the interpretation of anti-ageing benefits.

The bottom line The Ordinary Buffet review; Even still – in my opinion – yes The Ordinary Buffet is well worth your investment and yes it has fab potential to show you great skin benefits.

How to Use The Ordinary Buffet

Now onto those questions;

1. Can you use Buffet in the morning and the evening? Yes you can. This is A-OK. Buffet’s not light sensitive so you can use any time of day – provided none of the actives you’re using in combination has conflicts (see an example of a conflict in answer #3).
2. Can you use Buffet with hyaluronic acid? Yes, yes, yes. Although you might not need to. The Ordinary’s Buffet already has hyaluronic acid in its formula. There’s also a likelihood you might experience pilling if you layer too many of these types of skincare serums.
3. Can you use Buffet with vitamin C?Depends. Which type of vitamin C are you using? As a general rule, if you’re using a formula containing ascorbic acid, for example, The Ordinary’s Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% then it’s a no. You should keep peptides separate from ascorbic acid.
