The magic sequence of actions looks like this:

• Close iTunes.
• Go to the directory ~ / Music / iTunes or or ~ / Music / iTunes, if you use English localization of the operating system). Just in case, let me remind you that the tilde means the home directory of the user.
• In the open folder we find the file iTunes Music Library.xml and drag it to any other directory or directly to your desktop.
• Now delete the file, which is called iTunes Library.

• Run iTunes again. In the menu File> Media Library, we need the item Import playlist , in the dialog box you want to specify the previously saved iTunes Music Library.xml.
