Art K Retired but not tired! Very good amp for the dough.> Nice price - nice amp.

Is that the top limit of your budget?

    1. > My budget is $1500 but I can't seem to find an amp that gives out at least 150 watts per channel at that price!
    2. > I think it's a well-made amp. Have you listened to it? NAD amps' tonal balance is slightly on the warm side (i.e., slightly rolled off treble and strong bass). You should see if you like that kind of sound. When I use a NAD amp with B&W 685, I found the sound to be too warm for my liking. I read that the CM5 have a brighter tonal balance than the 685. So, they may go well with the 375BEE.
    3. > It has a good reputation, I had the C326BEE and I liked it very well. How that applies to the C375BEE I don't know. Does it include any expansion modules?
    4. > I owned a NAD C352 for a while and it also had that warm full sound mentioned above. My only criticism was the remote volume control was imprecise.
    5. > It's a nice amp. I had a new one here for a few days but I took it back as it had trouble driving my Martin Logans. Very nice sound if I remember it was warm with well defined bass. At $800 you would do well I think. But I am unfamiliar with your speakers.
    6. > NAD is solid. Good value and good performance.
    7. > For those saying the NAD is a warm sounding, rolled off amp, I highly recommend to upgrade the jumper cables that connect the pre-amp section to the power amp section on the back side. And then have another listen. Something like .

IMO, NAD has a very clean and dynamic sound. Tone is on the side of neutral. The better your sources and cables, the better the sound it reveals. Last edited: Jun 21, 2014

    1. > I've had a C375BEE in my main set for three years now and I've been extremely happy with it. Of course, I do like NAD amps; I've had several of them over the course of the last 30 years. Every time I have set out to buy a new one, I have listened to a dazzling array of different models from several brands, but have always ended up choosing a NAD. I guess there must be something in their signature sound that appeals to me.
    2. > Used Musical Fidelity amps can be found at that power and price point.

I've had very satisfying results with the pairing of MF and B&W in my rig.

    1. > Or try Gotham Gac jumper cables.
    2. > nad c356bee owner. listened to lots of amps under $2.5K and did not find one that i liked better. it sounds outstanding, gets better every day and the 375 should as well. NAD made a now legendary giant killer in the 80's the "2600 power envelope". The 375 is a continuation of that tradition (with a preamp).
    3. > That NAD or just about any NAD is a good buy and a good performer. I have owned a couple of them and you will be hard pressed to beat the overall value.
    4. > Is there any pics of this on these amps?
    5. > See if you can find an AVI Lab Series amp, an S2000 by the same company, or Harman's HK990. All will give 200wpc minimum and the AVIs deliver 250 a side.
    6. > Was going to suggest the same thing. Silver/copper jumpers made a big difference on my C355bee.
    7. > You can see them on the back photo in this ad. They are solid metal (stainless maybe?) with a black plastic cap that goes across. You can see them connecting the Pre Out 1 and Main In.

    1. > Can you elaborate on what kind of differences you noticed? Thanks.
    2. > So replacing these with "higher quality" ones alone results in better sound ?
    3. > Yes, the jumpers that are included are some sort of stainless steel about as thick as a coat hanger. It's been a while but I remember switching to a 12" pair of silver cables that I had sitting around and the sound became less wooly and the highs became clearer and more extended. Eventually I needed the 12" silver cables in another place and bought a pair of jumpers off of ebay, I believe they were called "jumping jack" jumpers, they were silver coated copper if I remember correctly. I couldn't find the exact ones but there are a few people making a selling RCA jumpers on ebay. I've since switched to tubes a couple of years ago and the c355bee has been boxed and waiting for me to sell off, I've been to lazy to get around to it. What is the best NAD amplifier of all time?

The NAD 3020 is probably one of the most popular integrated amplifiers ever. It was one of NAD (New Acoustic Dimension)'s first audio products and easily one of its most successful. It's a stereo amplifier that outputs 20 watts per channel — it was a solid budget amplifier for bookshelf speakers.

Is NAD C370 a good amplifier?

The NAD C370 was our favourite amp for two years running, despite being "no looker" - but then it's not alone in that department. Fending off competition from the likes of Marantz, Rega, Cyrus and Arcam, the C370 impressed us in all areas, from its sheer power to its ability to be controlled and delicate when needed.
