The Miami Open is a combined ATP/WTA tournament with an ATP Master’s 1000 and WTA 1000 tournament being played over the course of two weeks.

The tournaments are played on outdoor hard courts at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Dates

The ATP and WTA tournaments usually take place in the last two weeks of March, right after the Indian Wells tennis tournaments in California.

Any player who manages to win both the Indian Wells and Miami tournaments will achieve the coveted Sunshine Double.

The 2023 Tournament will be held over two weeks with the WTA event taking place from the 20th of March to the 1st of April 2023 and the ATP event taking place from the 21st of March to the 2nd of April 2023.
