When is the next World Cup?
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international
men’s association football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar in 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country.
The tournament will be the last to involve 32 teams, with an increase to 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The 2022 World Cup features the United States battling against
many of the top soccer nations from around the world. In the FIFA World Cup 2022, some of the countries participating include world champions France, Brazil, England, Argentina and African champions Senegal.
Qatar 2022 is scheduled to run from Monday, November 21 through Sunday, December 18, 2022.
How countries qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023
Teams from the Americas will qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 through six tournament windows over
15 months. The Qualifiers run from November 2021 to February 2023, with national sides playing home and away games in each of these event windows. Seven countries from the Americas will earn a spot to compete at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
