Good girls take a seat, Versace has spoken and it’s all about bad bitches this season. Versace's Spring-Summer 2023 collection hit Milan’s Fashion week in an electric display of leather, lace and attitude. The runway show was opened by model Gigi Hadid, who started the show with a strong, form-fitted black dress and ultra platform heels. Diagonal slashes across the chest of the otherwise full coverage long sleeved black gowns followed. Bold purple lips, heavy eyeliner and smokey purple eye makeup paired with a nude lip introduced the first bit of color down the runway.

Versace teased fans with a purple GIF of the brand logo on Instagram prior to the show captioning “Goddess Gone Grunge” giving followers a hint that purple would be a key color in the collection and indeed it was. The flavor this season is gothic grunge and honestly we can’t get enough! The Italian fashion house worked in dark orchid purple, tropical pink and neon yellow for a bold take on gothic grunge pairing it with the expected black. Fingerless gloves, and dramatically long leather fringe brought a taste of the early 00s to the show. Monochrome hot pink gave the audience couture rockstar barbie vibes, ultra feminine with a lot of attitude

She is the Goddess of Freedom.” Donatella Versace expressed, describing the inspiration for this season's collection. Versace surprised the audience by closing the show with fashion icon and heiress Paris Hilton as the glittering pink princess bride of Versace. Hilton finished the show sparkling with every step in a hot pink glitter cowl neck mini dress paired with pointed matching pink heels, finished off with a tiara and hot pink bridal veil in what is sure to be the Milan Fashion moment fashionistas will be thinking about all season long.
