.Let the first number be x and
second number be y.

Y - $\frac{60x}{100}$ = $\frac{52Y}{100}$

100y – 60x = 52y
48y = 60x

$\frac{X}{Y}$ =$\frac{48}{60}$= 4:5

Correct Answer:

Description for Correct answer:

Let the first and second number is a and b respectively\( \Large b-\frac{60}{100}a=\frac{52}{100}b \)\( \Large b-\frac{52}{100}b=\frac{60}{100}a \)\( \Large \frac{48}{100}b=\frac{60}{100}a \)\( \Large 4b=5a \)\( \Large \frac{a}{b}=\frac{4}{5} \)

\( \Large \Rightarrow a:b=4:5 \)
