Intel dynamic platform and thermal framework driver asus là gì năm 2024

I tried out Driver Booster from Steam and regret it ever since. It installed the following drivers without making any backups or restore point:

That was on September 27th and ever since my computer has experienced this strange input freeze. I first I thought it was my mouse, so I unplugged and tried a different mouse but the issue remained. The issue also occurred when typing and was only noticeable because while pressing a key it basically held that key and the letter repeated in a rhythmic pattern on screen. This is what occurs when using my mouse, if the mouse is not registering movement for a moment when it freezes, the cursor is simply unresponsive for a few moments. If the freeze occurs during movement the cursor will shoot in a perfectly straight trajectory until the freeze is over moving the mouse around while the cursor shoots across does nothing. However, if I press a button on either my keyboard or even a second mouse including moving the second mouse the computer receives the inputs in real-time appropriately while the initial device is still froze. Actions made with the frozen device appear to catch-up following the freeze the mouse cursor despite shooting off in a straight line, might appear where I actually had positioned the mouse so the cursor shows as instantly blinking to its correct coordinates. I also noticed when I had headphones on that there is a very slight audible click when the freeze occurs, making me believe that it is USB related. But even before the noticed the freeze I was already having issues with drivers that were installed. Nvidia Voice was broken immediately and I had to reinstall from the Nvidia website to fix. ALSO, there was my PixelXL which I keep mounted to my computer for photo transfers. It was no longer recognized despite being mounted and even USB debugging mode enabled/disabled on the Pixel. I read online for a fix for that for rolling back the driver on the Pixel under Device Manager while having USB debugging mode disabled on the Pixel. Besides that everything else is fine besides that constantly disruptive input freeze. I used Windows uninstall feature to uninstall as many of the above listed drivers as possible, but some were not listed and I know not where to find them in Windows. Two keyboard drivers I was able to uninstall from Device Manager. Also, some of the drivers listed above are listed twice that is how they appear on the driver install history through the Driver Booster app. As the person in the post at the beginning of this post stated, the frequency of the freeze in nearly non-existent when gaming or very infrequent to not be so disruptive. The issue seems to happen in desktop mode when under slightly heavy usage I'm talking spreadsheet work and multiple tabs open. This appears to be a common enough issue, but the terms used in describing the disruption seem to be making it tricky for users to locate others experiencing the same issue let alone a solution to resolve said issue. Thinking of any last details that need to be said before I post this.... occurs with HDR mode on/off..... video/audio playing during the freeze has no issue, same goes for scrolling a webpage/document while the input is frozen scrolling via secondary mouse/keyboard.

I disabled Bluetooth - no change

I closed Edge entirely and tried other browsers - no change

I viewed Task Manager to see if anything changed while freezing - no change

I attempted the solutions on that posted link - no change.

I uninstalled all USB drivers - no change

I uninstalled all Intel Chipset related drivers to everything on my laptop - no change

I performed a clean install of Nvidia drivers - no change

I uninstalled ALL Windows updates - no change

I reinstalled ALL Windows updates - no change

I reinstalled my laptops default Asus drivers from their website - no change

I could not find a way to uninstall Intel DPTF but found a way to registry hack to disable it - no change

I went in Device Manager and rolled back all the network drivers, then updated them using the standard automated update feature. After all that was done, I went into Windows Update and saw a 'Intel Support' update - no change

  1. Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel XTU) was running in Device Manager though I have never seen it before let alone with High usage for a split second. Could not open any app associated with it though. Installed it from Intel but could not get it to open up or display anything on screen. A quick lookup online showed that other Asus users had issues with this running. Ended program in Task Manager but it would restart itself within seconds. Located the file directory and then ended program in Task Manager and quickly manually deleting the files. It has never restarted again. Proceeded to uninstall Tuning Utility.
  1. Noticed that during the Asus driver install from Asus Installation Wizard that DPTF (V8.2.11003.3588.) would fail to install every time and still does. A brief frame of a Window popup displays for a nanosecond and disappears. It does this several times before failing in the Status section, but it continues installing other drivers and closes the Installation Wizard so I missed it initially thinking it was installed. I cannot find the drivers for DPTF anywhere for Asus and even the Intel website appears to have nothing. So that is currently a dead end unless someone can find a way to force install DPTF.
  1. Feeling that DPTF is to blame, I searched for it in Device Manager but it does not appear anywhere in there. I even found online examples of where it should be in Device Manager, but it is simply not present among the many Intel(R) drivers.
  1. I did discover a driver with a small icon that I could not deduce what it was representing (A tiny exclamation mark? {but not one like the usual ones that appear in Device Manager}). I selected the driver and it gave me the option to Roll Back so I screen shot the window and did so. The driver in question is 'Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family Thermal subsystem - A131

I'm pretty much convinced though that DPTF is to blame. I cannot install it and it does not appear on my computer. I need to look into this further. The freeze just happened to me as I was writing this so the issue remains despite my efforts.
