(Use 1-2 times a week) My experience with Innisfree Bija Trouble Mask:Packaging: Finally, I am having a wash-off mask from Innisfree with a tube packaging in my stash. The mask comes in a tube packaging with a flip top. The cap open with a little pressure and closes with a little click, making it travel-friendly. Though there are no chances of getting the mask out of the tube on its own, but I still mentioned it. The opening of the tube was sealed, but not the whole tube. All the necessary information is written over the back of the tube in both Korean and English. Texture and Fragrance: The mask has super thick, rich and creamy texture, just like any other kaolin clay masks, nothing fancy. It has a pale green-blue color with medicinal fragrance, but that is not at all a con. It is actually soothing and calming. Usage/Result: I started using this mask last month after having acne breakout and being diagnosed. I was just searching out for face masks and came across this one. I was already having a few clay masks, but I was looking for something to soothe the skin along with taking care of my troubled skin. You may think it is just like other clay masks, but actually it is not. The higher content of salicylic acid in this mask distincts it from the others. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, so, I tend to use this twice a week. The application process is super easy. I apply the mask evenly over my cleansed skin and let it for 15 minutes. The mask has a thick consistency, but it is not difficult to spread. In fact, it gets spread over the skin very easily and evenly. The mask does not dry out completely in 15 minutes, but I rinse it off anyway. To rinse it off, I do not use lukewarm water. I just use normal water and the mask gets rinsed off easily, but not quickly. It is a kaolin clay mask and takes nominal time as any other clay mask to get rinsed off. The mask starts its soothing and calming effects as soon as I apply it on. It feels very comfortable, calming and cooling. The fragrance is not noticeable after a couple of minutes of application. The mask is very much helpful in relaxing the tired and fatigued skin. While rinsing, it also feels very much cool and soothing. Post rinsing, it makes the skin deeply cleansed. The pores are deeply cleansed and unclogged, making the skin look clearer and radiant. It soothes the skin and reduces the redness. The salicylic acid and torreya seed oil combination helps in drying out the smaller acnes. You cannot expect it to miraculously treat big cystic acne in one go. I mean, you have to be reasonable in terms of expectations. Moreover, in terms of preventing, it is as efficient as in treating them. It prevents the acne to an extent, unless you have any medical issue related breakouts. Let me explain you this line. A thing that I have learned recently; if you are having acne despite of using acne-fighting products, then something is wrong within your body. When I had acne breakout last month, I went straight for diagnosis to prevent it from getting severe. And with all the symptoms lurking out, it was PCOS to be blamed for. So, when I use this mask, I still get pimples here and there. But, when my sister uses this mask, she does not get any zits at all.
