Review body mist the body shop

The Body Ship Satsuma Body Mist ($12 Each) is one of several new scented fragrances from the Body Shop.

I haven’t been following The Body Shop closely lately so I was kinda surprised and delighted when I came across these body mists while out on a shopping date with some friends. These are available in 3.3 oz glass spritzer bottles in a range of eight scents. Most of the scents are old favorites from the Body Shop like Satsuma and Strawberry.

I commonly associate the scent of Satsuma with the Body Shop. They always have the oil burning in the store and it’s the first thing that hits you in the face when you walk in. It’s a scent that has always been readily available in the body collection but never as a fragrance.

Obviously I snatched it up immediately.

Take a look!

These are fabulous. My friends picked up Vanilla and Coconut which are both gorgeous. I was only interested in Satsuma to be honest as it’s always been such a bright, happy scent but very limited since the Body Shop has only done it in body products.

It’s nice some of their classic scents are now available in a fragrance mist. Lucky enough the scent hasn’t morphed in this format as you know fragrances go a little different when they are turned into a mist or perfume. But the Body Shop successfully captured Satsuma brilliantly. You get that crisp bitter edge of citrus mixed with the juicy, succulence of orange and clementine.

The mist is strong at first spritz but dries down to sweet, mellow sunshine. It has a three hour wear time before needing a touch up.

I wanted a longer wear time but overall for $12 I’m quite loving these body mists and will indulge in a few more. And of course, you always have the option to layer now!

This is a great, soft scented white musk. Science it is a mist, the scent doesn’t last too long time-wise, but I would buy it again. If you want a stronger, longer-lasting scent you may want to look into a perfume.

Always loved bodyshop products. This shea scent I think is something that will be liked across the board - it smells expensive, but not the overly sweet musky kind of way. I always use body mist or edt because I am not a fan of strong perfumes. So of course this doesn’t last long (on body) but sometimes I am surprised that the scent stick to some of my clothes that was sprayed on.

the scent is great, however, it wears off QUICK. i usually spray it under my neck and i can smell it for maybe 20 minutes and then never again (this doesnt happen with my other perfumes)

I used Satsuma from the Body Shop for years, 15 years ago. It’s the same great citrus scent that I remember, but somewhat lighter and timid, not strong, and it’s vegan now. The issue is that the Satsuma that I remember was used once in the morning, and the scent lasted strongly all day. This one diminishes quite quickly. Something is clearly different in the makeup of the product. As in, $$ for a bottle used once a day was ok, but now having to use it repeatedly, it is simply too expensive to buy again. I am extremely disappointed. The bottle is recycled glass, it feels sturdy and doesn’t break easily. Maybe it’s great for people that don’t remember what it was before but it’s a major disappointment for someone that used it from years prior .

This was a great product, however, it wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted a refreshing, clean smelling, citrus spritz to use. This product has a more sweet sugary scent (almost sickeningly sweet). It would be perfect if that's what your looking for.

This item can not be returned. The price is 18.00 which I was willing to spend if it had the Whit Musk scent. Once you spray it, the scent is gone completely. It is definitely not worth 18.00. I am truly angry with myself for spending so much money on a non-returnable item. I will not make this mistake again!

The scent for this body spray is a lot weaker than the lotion scent from the same brand. Also, a slight bit more chemically. I had high hopes because of the lotion, but unfortunately they are just not the same.

I wasn't sure about buying perfume online as you have no idea what your going to get but I would say it's perfect. The smell isn't too strong but it's definitely noticeable. The scent lasts a pretty long time so this one of the best perfumes for such a low price.

Tried the perfume one in store, and wanted the same gorgeous smell, but a little softer for everyday wear. This mist spray is perfect. Lovely large bottle, and just the right amount of gentle fragrance to last a day.
